03 November 2009 Telkom’s 2009 net profit growth may exceed 5%

Jakarta, The Jakarta Post – PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia expects its net income to grow by more than 5 percent this year from a year ago, while revenue may increase at “high single digit” rate, president director Rinaldi Firmansyah said Monday.

Earlier, the company reported that third quarter profits rose 24 percent from a year earlier, the best three-month gain since the period ended December 2007 as sales increased.

Net income in the three months to Sept. 30 rose to Rp3.26 trillion ($342 million) from Rp2.62 trillion a year earlier. - Bloomberg
